Re: Providence Resources Application MS 51/4/541

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I am writing to notify you of my objection to the granting of the above license
application.

I agree with the viewpoint that there is:

An inadequate amount of time allocated to the Public (21 Working Days) to
comprehensively evaluate the application.

Genuine issues of environmental concern in relation to this application that need
to be further addressed these concerns in particular are related to marine and
wildlife as submitted by Bird-watch Ireland and the Irish Whale and Dolphin Group
and in addition for the concerns of the fishing community and other independent
environmental experts.

In the greater picture of the potential of oil & gas exploration and extraction, I do
not believe that there will be any case to justify the potential of either minimal or
catastrophic environmental impact that could affect the eastern coastline, the greater
Dublin Bay area or the recreation amenities or tourist attractions.

Upon looking into the financial aspects and possible benefits for the country I see a
great lack of clarity as to what economic benefits if any the country will get.

My wish would be that there is at the very least a thorough and transparent Public
Inquiry into this issue.

I hereby Object to Application 51/4/541

Yours Sincerely,
